I get my paycheck from a smallish, yet spectacular mortgage company known as First Hallmark Mortgage in Somerset, NJ. We have a back-office team of experts who know their stuff – period. They can boggle my mind sometimes with how darn fast they get things done. Accurate too.
First Hallmark is 75 miles from my home. They must be doing a lot of things right since I must pass 200 other mortgage companies on the drive there. Even when it looked like gas could get to $10.00 a gallon, it didn’t phase me. If you are a borrower looking for a mortgage, or one day might, keep this is mind, or in your pocket somewhere. Mortgage companies and lenders are FAR FROM equal. If they were even close to being equal, I could find one and walk to work.

Hold these strange initials behind my name: CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Association). Hope it counts for something. I did a lot of studying and test-taking for these intials.

You won’t get more reliable information, education, or options from anywhere or anyone else. I am a student of my business, and I always will be. The mortgage business is ever-changing. I can’t stick my head in the sand for a week and then try to give any borrower the best advice. Be certain you work with a dedicated professional so you don’t end up in the mortgage jungle.
