What a horror story. American Express just won’t quit. And they keep making headlines in a bad way. Why don’t WE just boycott THEM? What a concept!
Here’s my 5 cents. Until “WE“, the general population realize what strength we have, the big entities will always power over us and dictate our lives. I understand how this credit card holder feels. But must we beg and weep and sell our souls to American Express and other card companies?
Why not get another card and throw AMEX to the wolves? If “WE” were to take a stand and just not fall prey to their crappola any longer, their madness would stop. There are uncountable banks out there willing to extend credit to those with good histories. Why kowtow to AMEX? If “WE” decide we don’t want their credit, they will crash and burn. Let the fire start.
Sure, your credit score might suffer a tad bit because the card was cancelled. But to fight a monster as big as AMEX, we surely will have to take some slight punches.
Folks, it’s just a credit card. It’s not your mortgage.
